Terms of Use

Hermod Mail ("Hermod", "we", "us", "our") is the app and service these terms cover. Contact: support@tryhermod.com.

By downloading or using Hermod Mail, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Hermod Mail on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Use.

The service

Hermod Mail is an email client. It connects from your device to the mail providers you authorize. Whether it works at any given time depends on your network, those providers, and Apple’s platforms. Some features differ between the free tier and Hermod Pro.

Your accounts

You are responsible for the email accounts you link, for following your providers’ terms (including those of Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo), and for keeping your app passwords and device passcode secure. Do not use the app to send spam, malware, or unlawful content.

Hermod Pro subscriptions

• Optional auto-renewing subscriptions are sold through Apple: Hermod Pro Monthly ($7.99 USD per month or local equivalent) and Hermod Pro Yearly ($49.99 USD per year or local equivalent).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Free trials, where offered, are for new subscribers only. When a free trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the regular price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Pro unlocks unlimited linked accounts, unlimited sending, unlimited Intelligence Panel use, attachments, the Hermod Activity widget, activity stats, and data export. The free tier remains available with one linked account, inbox, reading, search, and folders, plus limited sending and limited Intelligence Panel peeks as described in the app.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms. Your mail and tokens stay on your device, and we do not sell personal data.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Hermod Mail is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost or delayed messages, missed notifications, provider outages, or incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Termination

You may stop using Hermod Mail and delete its local data from Settings at any time. We may stop offering the app or a feature if Apple, a mail provider, or the law requires it.
